Hunt, Conaty, and the 25 Top Music Videos

Congratulations to DPs and 3GR friends Jackson Hunt and Sean Conaty who shot music videos that ranked 3rd and 4th respectively in Paste Magazine’s top 25 music videos of 2011.  Sean shot Curl of the Burl on 3GR’s RED M-X + RED Pro Primes.  Videos and the blurbs from Paste:

4. Mastodon – “Curl of the Burl” (Director: Robert Schober, DP: Sean Conaty)

Does Mastodon’s new video feature a chainsaw, a mad chemist in a trailer park, anthropomorphic mushrooms and ax-wielding blondes who shoot fire out of their breasts? Of course it does.

3. Manchester Orchestra – “Simple Math” (Director: Daniels, DP: Jackson Hunt)

As Andy Hull’s pick-up truck flips over and over, so does the life flashing before his eyes.
